Narcissistic Abuse Consultation
“Thank you for the amazing training. It was what I was hoping for to give my staff a broad overview regarding identifying adult children of narcissists, symptoms and expectations for treatment. I really appreciated the introduction to IFS for my staff and your use of self-disclosure and humor. My staff really appreciated the actionable learning to further their work with clients. Thank you for fitting in so much in a short period of time. Your energy and expertise was fabulous and so relatable.”

Consultation on Narcissistic Abuse Recovery
Help your clients reclaim their power from narcissistic relationships.
Narcissistic abuse is insidious and under-recognized in our field. Narcissism is not merely a DSM description, as it can present as vulnerable and covert. Survivors struggle with anxiety, depression, self-blame, and a disconnection from their needs and feelings, without understanding their distress. They need guidance to discern the difference between abuse and love, and to extricate their mind, body and soul from a manipulative and energetically draining relationship. You can learn how to detect common patterns in narcissistically abusive relationships, and develop nuanced ways to describe them to your clients.
You can help your client escape the maze of gaslighting to rebuild their sense of self and reality. IFS skills access the right brain through guided visualization to help clients connect to their emotions and intuition, so that they feel more like a whole person. Clients go on guided journeys to heal their inner children and rescue them from memories where they had no protection. In the process they will reclaim qualities of Self energy: clarity, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, connectedness, confidence, curiosity. As clients develop a felt sense of their worthiness and needs, and regain personal agency, they will be able to break the trauma bond. They will transform subjugation into liberation, chronic confusion into unshakeable wisdom.
If you want to guide your clients out of the darkness into their power, please reach out to me. I have been trained by Dr. Ramani in narcissistic abuse recovery and by Dr. Lindsay Gibson in recovering from emotionally immature parents, and have had the privilege to lead trainings for other therapists on these topics. It is my great honor to teach what I know, what I have lived, and what I have survived, to help others discover that thriving is possible.
