Intuitive Development for Therapists

“Melissa “got” me. Quirks and all. Her expertise in IFS and her ability to weave astrology, intuition, and the esoteric with fluency and ethical grounding created a space where I felt both supported and challenged in all the right ways. Her guidance, authenticity, empathy, ferocity, humor, and deep intuitive knowing were essential to my reclamation of my inner (and outer) voice. She helped me trust myself, embrace my spiritual gifts, and step fully into the passion and career shifts that now feel aligned.”  ~Melissa E. Crim, MEd, LPC

Private Practice is a Spiritual Practice

Therapy works best when we are attuned. More than a conversation, it is a practice of presence and discernment. We keep dual awareness while we speak - sensing the the timing, emotional shifts, and what remains unsaid. We’ve all had sessions where we spoke from an ungrounded place, or where our insight was right but the moment wasn’t. At its best, therapy becomes a creative flow, a dance between two nervous systems, rather than a constricted set of prescribed interventions.

As a witchy, intuitive, sensitive therapist, you’re already familiar with the energetic dimensions of the work. You feel the emotional current under your client’s words and sense the parts they can’t yet meet. You notice the energetic residue that lingers long after the session ends. But no one taught you how to protect these gifts or use them in session. This consultation space is where your clinical training and your intuitive wisdom finally meet.

We use IFS and Brainspotting to help you:

  • attune to your intuition from a regulated, embodied place

  • notice how your parts block intuitive information

  • follow your inner guidance without overthinking

  • let Self-energy direct your work rather than your mind

  • open the creative channel to get into a flow with clients

What this work cultivates in you

1. A clearer inner compass

You learn where intuition lives in your body, how it speaks, and how to distinguish it from fear, urgency, or over-responsibility.

2. Stronger energetic & empathic boundaries

Sensitive therapists absorb more than their fair share of feelings.

This work helps you feel without fusing, sense without carrying, and track your clients without losing your center.

3. A more alive, creative therapeutic presence

When your intuition is online, your work becomes more fluid, spacious, and inspired.

Your interventions feel less curated and more like they are arriving through you.

4. Integration of your spiritual gifts into your clinical identity

Whether your language is astrology, tarot, or reiki— we weave it in ways that feel grounded, ethical, and authentic.

5. Confidence in the room — with less burnout

We support your caregiving or rescuing parts that take on too much of the burden.

Burnout happens when you lead from these parts alone. Self-energy is a renewable resource.

This work reshapes not just your sessions, but your presence as a healer.

What sessions look like

Every consultation session is a blend of:

  • Attunement to your higher Self through IFS

  • Opening the creative channel through Brainspotting

  • Strengthening energetic and empathic boundaries

  • Understanding countertransference as parts

  • Exploring your clinical identity as a mystic-healer

  • Supporting clinical cases through a transpersonal lens

Why work with me

My practice sits at the crossroads of trauma therapy, energetic sensitivity, and creativity. I’ve spent years integrating spirituality — intuition, energy healing, and astrology — into my clinical work. I’ve navigated enough spiritual bypassing to know what integrates and what dissociates us from our inner knowing. IFS and Brainspotting are the frameworks that anchor intuition your body and expand your window of tolerance, so that you feel fully grounded in your wisdom. Your soul voice is as close as your next breath.
